Bio
Alec La Roche produces French house, disco, electronic music with a human pulse. Blending shimmering synths, deep grooves, and the raw heart of a songwriter raised on punk, funk, and jazz, his sound lives somewhere between the dancefloor and a late-night confession.
Raised in a small town in the United States, Alec cut his teeth playing upright and electric bass across the country, touring with Americana bands and cutting jazz records before turning to synths and drum machines. His debut solo ep brings that same musical depth into a vibrant new world — where Daft Punk, Jaco Pastorius, and indie pop melodies all collide.
He’s performed at legendary venues like The Fillmore and the Great American Music Hall, landed in the UK Top Ten, and played festivals nationwide — all with his bass in hand. Now, Alec’s turning his live energy into something more expansive: emotionally rich, rhythmically alive, and built for connection.
